Hi Carl,
Listening to all your blogs from your trip today. Good to hear your reflections-good to hear your voice and the stories that come out. Can’t wait to have your share these with students-always the learning that comes from you is so important. Best, Fran
Hi, Carl–I really appreciate these comments. You are right, Facing History seeks to complicate, not confuse, and to help teachers (and their students) to question simple “answers” and solutions and the comfort and certainty which accompany them. Particularly in stressful times simple answers are appealing so being able to sit with/tolerate the dis-ease of complexity is challenging. You put it beautifully!! Peace, Karen
